Volleyball Recap: Marion Falls to Massac County in First Game of Season

Marion unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Massac County Patriots on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11.

Looking ahead, Marion will head out to square off against Anna-Jonesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Massac County, they will take on Frankfort in a tournament on Thursday.
