Baseball Game Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Newberry Bulldogs

Keenan hasn't had much luck against Newberry recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Raiders will square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Keenan has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Keenan after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 13-2 to Silver Bluff. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Newberry was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fox Creek. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Predators recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Keenan's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Newberry, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Keenan might still be hurting after the 24-0 defeat they got from Newberry in their previous meeting on April 1st. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
