 There's no place like home for Madison Highland Prep, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Thursday. They came out on top against the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans by a score of  5-1  on Friday. This was a revenge  match for Madison Highland Prep, as the team was forced to settle for  a  7-6 defeat when these two played  last Thursday.
  Will Clemens was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Clemens was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Joseph Lungo was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games he's  played.  Josh Hutchins was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 On Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sehaj Malhi, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Madison Highland Prep now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
 Madison Highland Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Rock at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Madison Highland Prep is facing Red Rock at the right time seeing as Red Rock is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  Anthem Prep at 2:30  p.m.  on Monday. Anthem Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
