Basketball Game Preview: Shelby Golden Lions vs. Crest Chargers

The Shelby Golden Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Crest Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Shelby saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 62-58 to East Mecklenburg.

Meanwhile, Crest unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 57-34 to Forbush two weeks ago.

Shelby now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Crest, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-1.

Shelby couldn't quite finish off Crest in their previous matchup back in January and fell 52-50. Can the Golden Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
