Cleburne County was the 2-1 winner over Weaver when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Cleburne County's loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Cleburne County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Weaver, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-10 record.

Coincidentally, Cleburne County and Weaver will both be playing White Plains the next time they take the pitch. The Bearcats will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
