Baseball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Mayo Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Packers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mayo, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

While Austin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
