Baseball Recap: Salem Greyhounds vs. Flippin Bobcats
Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Flippin Bobcats. If the Greyhounds were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Salem got a good showing from Caleb Smith, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Caleb Leisenring was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.
