Football Recap: Bristow Pirates vs. McLoud Redskins
Bristow never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against McLoud on Friday. They breezed by the McLoud Redskins to the tune of 42-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2015.
Leading Bristow to victory were Darien Dansby and Promised Johnson. Dansby gained 167 total yards and three touchdowns, while Johnson rushed for 150 yards on only nine carries. Those 150 rushing yards gave Johnson a new career-high.
Bristow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
