Basketball Recap: Comer's Losing Streak Snapped at Nine Games

Comer can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They secured a 49-44 W over the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-54 back in December of 2024.

Rowe-Clark lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jasean Knox, who posted 13 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Marcus Fossett, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Comer's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Rowe-Clark, they moved to 3-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Comer will take on Bulls College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comer is facing Bulls College Prep at the right time seeing as Bulls College Prep is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Rowe-Clark, they will head out on the road to take on Rauner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
