Volleyball Recap: Clinton Red Tornadoes vs. Chickasha Fighting Chicks

Clinton was the 2-0 winner over Chickasha when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Tornadoes fell just short of the Fighting Chicks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Clinton sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 25-19, 12-25, 15-10.

Chickasha can attribute much of their success to Ari Andrew, who had 26 digs and two aces. Those 26 digs gave Andrew a new career-high. Ava Brown also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Clinton dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Chickasha, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Clinton has already played their next contest (against Altus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chickasha also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against El Reno.
