Spring Lake barely beat Holland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lakers never let the Dutch get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.

Spring Lake pushed their record up to 28-3 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Holland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Coming up, Spring Lake is taking a road trip to take on Montague at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lakers surely won't give up without a fight.
