Volleyball Recap: Minarets Takes a Loss

Minarets lost against Sierra back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Chieftains. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Minarets had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

Minarets' loss dropped their record down to 11-14-1. As for Sierra, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Minarets is set to square off against their familiar foe Yosemite at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sierra will take on rival Chowchilla at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
