Gilbert's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-13 win over the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Aiken had strong showings from Tanner Padgett, who threw for 127 yards and one TD, and Darius Walker, who rushed for 96 yards.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Aiken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
