Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

If Jefferson was riding high fresh off their 59-29 takedown of Adamson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jefferson Patriots were beaten by the Hillcrest Panthers 90-25 on Tuesday. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-11.

Jefferson's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hillcrest, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will take on Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Hillcrest, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hillcrest Panthers take on the Molina Jaguars at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
