Basketball Game Preview: Central Tigers vs. Haskell Haymakers

The Central Tigers will head out to take on the Haskell Haymakers on Thursday.

Central easily dispatched Vian on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Tigers fell just short of Okemah by a score of 50-48 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Haskell entered their tilt with Mounds on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 37-36 W against the Golden Eagles.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Haskell, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Central strolled past Haskell in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 51-36. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Haymakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
