Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

University lost against Gonzaga Prep back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Bullpups, falling 3-0.

University was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Gonzaga Prep work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 28-26, 25-15.

Gonzaga Prep can attribute much of their success to Mara Sandberg, who hit 72.7% for 17 kills and 14 digs and six aces. The last time Sandberg's hitting percentage was this high was back in September of 2024.

University has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Gonzaga Prep, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither University nor the Bullpups have any future games scheduled.
