Basketball Recap: Tatum Takes a Loss

Tatum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 68-49 fall against the Jal Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Coyotes of the 65-42 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Tatum's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Jal, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing New Mexico Military Institute the next time they take the court. Jal will host New Mexico Military Institute at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while Tatum will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
