Baseball Recap: Seymour Has No Trouble Against Northview Academy

There's no place like home for Seymour, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northview Academy Cougars on Monday as they made off with a 13-1 victory. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

Seymour let Braylon Williams and Miller Elijah run wild. Williams scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Elijah scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Williams a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Reagan Patterson, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Seymour now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Northview Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Seymour beat the Cougars by a score of 16-2 on Tuesday.
