Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

After losing to Birmingham the last time they met, Kennedy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted against the Patriots since August 22, 2016.

The win didn't come easy: Birmingham scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-20.

Kennedy had a senior duo take command as Byanca Aleman had 18 assists and four digs and Isabela Barnett had nine digs and five aces.

Kennedy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

After both having extra time off, Kennedy and Reseda will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. Birmingham has already played their next contest (against Sherman Oaks CES), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
