Preview: Beechwood vs. West Carter
West Carter will go up against Beechwood in continuing playoff action on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average (West Carter ten, Beechwood 15.25), so any points scored will be well earned.
West Carter's and Shelby Valley's game last week was close at halftime, but the Comets turned on the heat in the second half with 36 points. The Comets steamrolled past Shelby Valley 50-12. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point West Carter had established a 36-12 advantage.
Meanwhile, Beechwood earned some more postseason success in their matchup last Friday. They took down Newport 38-19.
