Volleyball Recap: Newport Grizzlies vs. Priest River Spartans

After flying high against Reardan on Thursday, Newport came back down to earth. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Priest River Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Newport sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-10.
