On Thursday Bryce Rathmel pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Rathmel has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walk. On the season, he has an ERA of 6.39 over 7.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Rathmel and Summerville will venture away from home to challenge Woodbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodbridge will enter the matchup having just beaten Beckman, so Summerville will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
