It was a proper cat-fight when Live Oak duked it out with Corning on Tuesday. The Lions and the Cardinals finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Gridley made sure to put some goals up on the board against Las Plumas on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Thunderbirds. Considering Gridley have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gridley pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those five matchups. Live Oak's draw makes their record 9-7-2 this season.
