Football Game Recap: Mascoutah vs. Waterloo

Mascoutah took the contest and then some with a 47-7 win on Friday over Waterloo. Mascoutah have a history of success against Waterloo, winning their last head-to-head 47-7.

Mascoutah started the game off right with 40 first-half points. Waterloo put up 7, so the score was 40-7 at the half. The Mascoutah defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped their record up to 3-1. Waterloo are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.

Mascoutah will look to defend their home turf next week against Jersey at 7:00 PM. As for Waterloo, they will face off against Civic Memorial.
