Baseball Recap: Sherman Starts Season with Victory Against Richwood

Sherman took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They never let the Richwood Lumberjacks get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory.

Colby Atkins was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. Brayden Hamrick was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Looking ahead, Sherman will hit the road for the first time this season to take on South Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. As for Richwood, they will face off against Greenbrier West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
