After flying high against Granger on Thursday, West Jordan came back down to earth. The Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Hills Skyhawks on Saturday. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Traeh Tuaumu paced West Jordan's offense, picking up six kills. Tuaumu really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with eight. Finally, Porter Melton kept West Jordan's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

West Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Salem Hills, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, West Jordan and Salem Hills will both be playing Crimson Cliffs the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will head out to face the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Skyhawks will play them later in the day, at 12:45 p.m.
