Jake Browning of Folsom is the National Junior of the Year, another in a line of Bulldogs quarterbacks to post huge numbers.
The 2013 MaxPreps Junior All-American Team is highlighted by National Junior of the Year Jake Browning.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound quarterback from Folsom (Calif.) completed 440 of 579 pass attempts, good for 5,737 yards and a whopping 75 touchdowns. He helped lead Folsom to a 14-1 record and became California's single-season leading passer for touchdowns and yards.
Finishing as a close runner-up was Cedar Hill sensation Damarkus Lodge. Lodge, a first team offensive selection, caught 71 passes for 1,256 yards and 21 scores. He scored twice in the team's state finals upset over Katy.

OL - Patrick Vahe, 6-3, 290, Trinity (Euless, Texas)Vahe helped Euless Trinity nearly upset Desoto in the Class 5A-I playoffs, earning Class 5A all-state honorable mention honors.
OL - Martez Ivey, 6-5, 270, Apopka (Fla.)Ivey helped Apopka's offense set numerous records in 2013.

OL - Tristen Hoge, 6-4, 290, Highland (Pocatello, Idaho)One of the country's top centers, Hoge helped lead Highland to the title game and was an all-state pick.
OL - Sterling Jenkins, 6-8, 300, Baldwin (Pittsburgh)The massive Jenkins was a Class AAAA all-state pick.
QB - Jake Browning, 6-2, 185, Folsom (Calif.)It was another nearly unbelievable statistical season for Browning. He completed 440 of 579 passes for 75 touchdowns versus only 17 interceptions. He also rushed for six touchdowns, and is the

QB - Kyler Murray, 5-11, 175, Allen (Texas)The best player on one of the country's best teams, Murray led Allen to a Class 5A-I state title by completing 207 of 325 passes for 3,669 yards and 46 touchdowns while rushing 151 times for 1,274 yards and 19 scores.
RB - Andre Robinson, 5-10, 205, Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, Pa.)The Class AAA Player of the Year, Robinson carried 246 times for 2,279 yards and 29 touchdowns.
RB - Calvin Strong, 5-9, 175, Omaha North (Neb.)Strong exploded as a junior, rushing 355 times for 3,008 yards and 43 touchdowns.
RB - Nyheim Miller-Hines, 5-9, 180, Garner Magnet (N.C.)It was a prodigious season for Miller-Hines. He gained 3,137 yards and scored 49 touchdowns on 299 carries.
RB - Kellen Overstreet, 5-11, 200, Penney (Hamilton, Mo.)Overstreet posted ridiculous statistics en route to winning Class 1 Player of the Year honors. He carried 361 times for 3,327 yards and 53 touchdowns and also contributed 404 receiving yards and seven scores.

DL - Rasheem Green, 6-4, 300, Serra (Gardena, Calif.)Green was a monster in the middle, earning Mission League Lineman MVP honors.
DL - Josh Sweat, 6-5, 235, Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, Va.)For one of Virginia's top teams, Sweat compiled 94 tackles and 22 sacks, topping the mark of senior teammate Andrew Brown. He was an all-Tidewater selection.
DL - D'Andre Walker, 6-3, 210, Hughes (Fairburn, Ga.)Walker was the 3-AAAAAA Player of the Year as well as a first team all-state pick.
DL - Terry Beckner Jr., 6-5, 260, East St. Louis (Ill.)

East St. Louis enjoyed another deep playoff run, thanks in large part to Beckner. On the season, he registered 99 tackles and eight sacks.
LB - Jeff Holland, 6-3, 232, Trinity Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.)For state champion Trinity, Holland recorded 45 tackles, 17.5 of which went for a loss, and eight sacks.
LB - Mekhi Brown, 6-6, 215, Carver (Columbus, Ga.)The Alabama commit led Carver to the Class AAA quarterfinals.
LB - Malik Jefferson, 6-3, 220, Poteet (Mesquite, Texas)With 93 tackles and 14 sacks, Jefferson was the lone junior to crack the 4A all-state team.
LB - John Houston, 6-3, 215, Serra (Gardena, Calif.)Houston followed up a big sophomore season with a superb junior campaign, tallying 137 tackles and breaking up nine passes.
DL - Jashon Cornell, 6-5, 265, Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.) Cornell, who has drawn favorable comparisons to Aldon Smith, led Cretin-Derham Hall in sacks and was a first team all-state selection.
DB - Kevin Toliver, 6-2, 182, Trinity Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.)

It appears to be a banner year for talent around Jacksonville, and Toliver has perhaps the brightest future.
The No. 1 recruit in the 247Composite for 2015 made 36 tackles and two interceptions and earned first team All-First Coast honors by the Times-Union.
DB - Tyrek Cole, 5-10, 160, Miramar (Fla.)"Cole Island" was a first team all-county pick by the Sun-Sentinel after breaking up 22 passes.
DB - Minkah Fitzpatrick, 6-1, 180, St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.)Despite missing time due to injury, Fitzpatrick still recorded 62 tackles and four interceptions and was a first team all-state selection.
DB - Jamal Peters, 6-2, 185, Bassfield (Miss.)A
first team all-state pick, Peters helped lead Bassfield to a state
title by accounting for 72 tackles, six sacks and an interception.

WR - Christian Kirk, 5-10, 190, Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.)The explosive Kirk accounted for 77 catches for 825 yards and 13 touchdowns. He earned first team all-state honors by the Arizona Republic.
WR - Calvin Ridley, 6-2, 170, Monarch (Coconut Creek, Fla.)Nicknamed "Showtime" Ridley lived up to his moniker. By the middle of October, he had already hauled in 15 touchdown passes.
WR - George Campbell, 6-3, 185, East Lake (Tarpon Springs, Fla.)

The versatile Campbell did it all for East Lake. He collected 31 catches for 769 yards and seven scores. Defensively, he made 29 tackles and eight sacks while breaking up four passes and blocking a field goal.
TE - Tyrone Wheatley Jr, 6-6, 235, Canisius (Buffalo, N.Y.)Wheatley starred at tight end and defensive end for one of New York's top teams, earning all-area recognition.
OL - Steven Gonzalez, 6-5, 300, Union City (N.J.)Union City had arguably the finest season in its young history, thanks in large part to the work of Gonzalez up front.
OL - Jalin Barnett, 6-4, 310, Lawton (Okla.)Barnett will likely be the state's most coveted recruit in 2015.
OL - Jake Fruhmorgen, 6-5, 250, Plant (Tampa, Fla.)The latest blue-chip lineman to emerge from the Tampa power, Fruhmorgen's play helped an offensive line that was a strength during Plant's playoff run.
OL - Matt Burrell, 6-4, 250, Hylton (Woodbridge, Va.)Burrell earned all-Met honors from the Washington Post as a junior.
OL - Garrett Thomas, 6-6, 305, Many (La.)Thomas, one of the state's top recruits next year, was a Class 2A all-state pick.

Part of the highly-acclaimed class of 2015 QB class in California, White posted stunning statistics. He completed 333 of 524 passes for 4,535 yards and 41 touchdowns, while rushing for nine additional scores.
QB - Austin Kafentzis, 6-1, 195, Jordan (Sandy, Utah)Kafentzis continued with his record-setting career as a junior, connecting on 191 of 380 passes for 3,011 yards and 20 touchdowns while rushing for 1,839 yards and a whopping 30 scores.
RB - Jacques Patrick, 6-0, 200, Timber Creek (Orlando, Fla.)The highly recruited Patrick had 231 carries for 2,153 yards and 30 touchdowns, including two games in which he rushed for six touchdowns apiece.
RB - Damien Harris, 5-11, 205, Madison Southern (Berea, Ky.)The future Michigan Wolverine carried 220 times for 2,621 yards and 45 touchdowns, earning Courier-Journal first team all-state honors.
RB - Rocky Reid, 6-1, 210, Concord (N.C.)Reid ran for 3,355 yards and 39 touchdowns as Concord finished 15-1. He was a first team all-area pick by the Charlotte Observer.
ATH - Taren Morrison, 5-11, 185, Desert Ridge (Mesa, Ariz.)Arizona's leading rusher, Morrison rushed for 2,587 yards and 38 touchdowns and was named the Division I Player of the Year.

DL - Tim Settle, 6-2, 295, Stonewall Jackson (Manassas, Va.)A first team All-Met pick, Settle tallied five sacks and 32 tackles for loss.
DL - Cece Jefferson, 6-4, 265, Baker County (Glen St. Mary, Fla.)Jefferson continued to terrorize opposing quarterbacks, finishing with 17 sacks as well as 24 tackles for loss and earning Times-Union Defensive Player of the Year honors.
DL - Trenton Thompson, 6-3, 290, Westover (Albany, Ga.)

LB - Sherrod Pittman, 6-1, 215, First Coast (Jacksonville, Fla.)Pittman tallied 103 tackles and three interceptions, earning all-area honors.
LB - Cecil Cherry, 6-1, 220, Frostproof (Frostproof, Fla.)A first team all-area pick by Polk County's The Ledger, Cherry racked up 82.5 tackles and 4.5 sacks in the regular season alone.
LB - Troy Dipre, 6-1, 215, St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio)A Division I first team all-state pick, Dipre recorded 106 tackles and seven sacks for a St. Edward squad that was nationally ranked for much of the year.

was a defensive leader for perennial power Ensworth, making 29 tackles,
intercepting three passes and breaking up five others.
DB - Derwin James, 6-3, 190, Haines City (Fla.)The hard-hitting James was a first team all-BCP selection by Big County Preps.
