Baseball Recap: St. Genevieve Comes Up Short

St. Genevieve lost against Mary Star of the Sea last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. St. Genevieve lost 15-2 to Mary Star of the Sea. The Valiants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Genevieve's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mary Star of the Sea, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Genevieve will welcome Bosco Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Genevieve's pitchers better be ready for this one: Bosco Tech has averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Mary Star of the Sea, they will host South El Monte at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
