Softball Recap: Weldon Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Weldon put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Wilson Prep Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on Monday.

Kamaya Coles was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kearii Edwards, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-3.

Weldon's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Wilson Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
