There's no place like home for Hondo Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 45-21 margin over the Carrizozo Grizzlies on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.

The victory got Hondo Valley back to even at 10-10. As for Carrizozo, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coming up, Hondo Valley will challenge Corona/Vaughn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corona/Vaughn will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Hondo Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carrizozo, they have already played their next contest, a 71-7 defeat against Mountainair on the 19th.
