Soccer Game Preview: Colquitt County vs. Lowndes

Colquitt County is 0-10 against Lowndes since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Colquitt County Packers will host the Lowndes Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

While Colquitt County's win against Cairo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Colquitt County narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Cairo 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Packers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Lowndes won against Pierce County on Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Lowndes came out on top in a nail-biter against LaGrange, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Lowndes pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Colquitt County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
