Basketball Recap: Le Mars Takes a Loss

Le Mars was the 50-46 winner over Bishop Heelan Catholic when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Le Mars Bulldogs had to suffer through a 61-20 loss at the hands of the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Le Mars dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Le Mars and Lincoln will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Heelan Catholic will take on Sergeant Bluff-Luton in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Heelan Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three games.
