Basketball Recap: Nampa Comes Up Short

Nampa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-6 defeat at the hands of the Middleton Vikings. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Miley Steele had an outrageously good game for Middleton as she went 7 for 10 on her way to 14 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Blackwell, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points and four steals.

Nampa's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Middleton, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Nampa and Emmett will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Middleton, they will face off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
