Volleyball Game Preview: John Paul II Cardinals vs. Prestonwood Christian Lions + How To Watch

John Paul II hasn't had much luck against Prestonwood Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cardinals will face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as John Paul II comes in on three and Prestonwood Christian on 18.

John Paul II won the last time they faced Ursuline Academy and Summer Hodge did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cardinals came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Hodge, who had 23 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Prestonwood Christian sidestepped Bishop Lynch for a 3-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted against the Friars since September 13, 2022.

Prestonwood Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Bishop Lynch into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Prestonwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for John Paul II, their victory bumped their record up to 31-13.
