Basketball Recap: Gilman City Piles Up the Points Against Union Star

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilman City). They blew past the Union Star Trojans, posting a 60-30 win. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Gilman City's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Union Star, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilman City will take on Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Star, they will square off against Winston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
