Volleyball Recap: North Buncombe Falls to North Henderson in First Game of Season

North Buncombe had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the North Henderson Knights on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

North Buncombe started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

The victory got North Henderson back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, North Buncombe will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mountain Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Henderson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hilton Head Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
