Football Recap: McFarland Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McFarland can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Whitnall Falcons. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Spartans haven't been shut out since back in August.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Whitnall, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

McFarland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitnall, they will welcome Martin Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
