The Killeen Kangaroos were not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 5-0 loss at the hands of Chaparral. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Killeen of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.
Killeen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16-2. As for Chaparral, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10-6.
Killeen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chaparral, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on A&M Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on March 26th. A&M Consolidated is coming into the game with four straight victories on the road, so Chaparral will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
