Baseball Game Preview: Soledad Aztecs vs. San Lorenzo Valley Cougars

The Soledad Aztecs will take on the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Soledad and eight for San Lorenzo Valley.

On Wednesday, Soledad didn't have quite enough to beat Carmel and fell 8-7.

Ethan Sanchez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Soledad's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-6-1 when he doesn't). Victor Bravo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
