Volleyball Recap: Westlake Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greenville HomeSchool Athletics on Friday, Westlake Academy came back down to earth. The Blacksmiths lost 3-0 to the North Central Texas Academy Pioneers on Friday. The Blacksmiths haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Westlake Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for North Central Texas Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Westlake Academy will square off against Covenant Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central Texas Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
