Softball Recap: Connetquot Beats Walt Whitman for Their Third Straight Victory

Connetquot had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Walt Whitman Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-4 on April 4th.

Connetquot pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Walt Whitman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
