Baseball Recap: Lowell Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lowell and Kankakee Valley squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lowell had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Kougars. The Red Devils were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Kougars' pitchers proved too tough.

Gavin Gutierrez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
