Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Huskies vs. Triway Titans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chippewa, Northwestern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Triway Titans 3-2. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-103) Northwestern actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 15-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Triway still got an impressive performance from Reagan Underwood, who had 25 digs. Underwood is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season.

Northwestern's record now sits at 11-12. As for Triway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Northwestern has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tuslaw on the 22nd. Triway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
