Football Game Preview: North Garland Raiders vs. Rowlett Eagles

North Garland is 0-10 against Rowlett since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. North Garland will be strutting in after a win while Rowlett will be coming in after a defeat.

North Garland will bounce into Friday's game after beating Naaman Forest, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Raiders walked away with a 22-15 victory over the Rangers on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

North Garland can attribute much of their success to Christian Hampton, who threw for 175 yards on 15 of 22 attempts, and also rushed for 57 yards. Jeremiah Denmark also helped with three TDs in total.

Rowlett's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Garland, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6.

Things could have been worse for North Garland, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 20-6 loss to Rowlett in their previous meeting back in November of 2024.
