Sterling entered their tilt with Eastside on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Silver Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sterling was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12.

Will Stubbs - Class Of 2026 paced Sterling's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 got some help from Davis Holloway and his 24 assists. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jaydan Canlas-Mercado, racking up four apiece.

Sterling now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Eastside, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sterling beat the Tigers by a score of 2-0 later that day.
