While Jackson Heights's win against Jefferson County North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cobras sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Chargers on Thursday. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jackson Heights now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Jefferson County North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jackson Heights will challenge rival Atchison County on Monday. Meanwhile, Jefferson County North is set to square off against their familiar foe Pleasant Ridge on Monday.
