Volleyball Recap: Allatoona Takes a Loss

The Allatoona Buccaneers didn't have quite enough to beat the Central Lions on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Madi Heard paced Allatoona's offense, picking up 14 kills. Heard got some help from Lk Lamonica and her 28 assists. Finally, Ella Glassmeyer kept Allatoona's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Abigayle Rowland was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 assists and two aces.

Allatoona's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Central, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Allatoona will challenge Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will venture away from home to take on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
