Basketball Recap: Vergennes Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Vergennes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds by a score of 38-25 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Commodores: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds back in January, they had to take a 37-35 defeat.

The win got Vergennes back to even at 7-7. As for Missisquoi Valley, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.
