After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moanalua, Kalani was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-28 victory over the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Kalani's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-5. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kalani will head out to square off against Kaimuki at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kalani is facing Kaimuki at the right time seeing as Kaimuki is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Roosevelt, they will venture away from home to challenge McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: McKinley will have lost five straight heading into Thursday's game.
