Mount Vernon won the last time they faced Mt. Baker and things went their way on Saturday too. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Mount Vernon Bulldogs made off with a 61-60 win over the Mt. Baker Mountaineers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Mount Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Mt. Baker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
